Kort biografi
John Buettner-Janusch, often called "B-J", was an American physical anthropologist who pioneered the application of molecular evolution methods, such as protein sequence comparison, to the field of primate evolution. The most significant of his work, which included over 80 journal articles, focused on biochemical genetics and cytogenetics in non-human primates. After getting his Ph.D., he worked at Yale University, then at Duke University, where he founded the Duke Lemur Center. He then moved to New York University, becoming the chairman of the anthropology department. He was found to be making illegal drugs in his laboratory, and was sentenced to prison. After he got out, he sent poisoned candies to the judge and other people that he blamed for his drug conviction. He was sent to prison again, where he died after refusing to eat and being force-fed.
