In this moving memoir, a wrongfully convicted man from Somerville shares his experience of 16 years in solitary confinement and 12 years on death row, and his efforts for reform after his exoneration.
at times soul-crushing and uplifting, a stark look into the injustice we tolerate. I just set up a monthly donation to the Innocence Project.

I consider Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson to be one of the best books on the troubling flaws of our justice system, and Infinite Hope is a powerful testimony to that reality.
Det här är en av LibraryThings förhandsrecensioner.When I sat down to read this book, I was mesmerized and inhaled it in within a day – I can't remember when I last did this with a book. Graves' well written account of resilience and courage in the face of trumped up evidence that landed him on death row for most of his adult life was inspiring and fascinating. He endured the worst conditions the US has to offer and yet never gave up either his hope or his dignity.
Recommended for it's view of how our criminal justice system can go astray, especially for the black and poor.
