Peter Methven

An excellent post-Apocalyptic military adventure novel. I don't know if Methven has published anything else, but as a first book, this is terrific. I got [Hunter's War] through Smashwords.com, and for the price I paid, I got a tremendous bargain. It is well written and well paced with believable characters and natural dialog. It is a single perspective narrative that doesn't distract with unnecessary plot lines or characters. The post-Apocalyptic world Methven creates is believable and very real; no mutants here, just a world changed by natural and human disaster.

Recommended for fans of military adventure, post-Apocalypse fiction, and folks just looking for a good read by a new author.… (mer)
