- Herbert Schlossberg, a Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, is a leading scholar on the relationship between Christianity and the societies in which it has existed. His most recent book, The Silent Revolution and the Making of Victorian England, studies the effect on English society of the religious revival of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. He is completing a follow-on volume that takes the study to the end of the Victorian period. Mr. Schlossberg has also been a university history teacher, a Soviet military specialist at the CIA, a college dean, and a businessman.

Turning Point: A Christian World View Declaraction av Herbert Schlossberg
We need to prepare ourselves for world view challenges. We cannot simply try to return to a bygone era.
Looks at persecution primarily from the communist world, where much of it was coming from at the time the book was being written, and Islamic world. Communism collapsed before publication. Particularly good chapter on a theological understanding of persecution.
I am surprised that this book is not better known. I found Mr. Schlossbergs ideas stimulating and surpassingly important in understanding current events. Unfortunately some of the references and data are dated. I would love to see an updated version
