I can't remember exactly why I printed out the transcript of this trial some time ago, but it does make for a really interesting read, with different witnesses remembering different things and some legal arguments over the definitions of manslaughter, homicide, and murder. And the lawyers involved on both sides were some of the most active legal minds in Massachusetts, too.
