Madeline Valentine

I enjoyed reading this book for many reasons. First of all, this would make for a great read aloud book! The illustrations in this story enhance the story and the style fits the written text perfectly. The illustrations are vivid and and funny, the illustrations itself would keep the readers engaged. The plot of the story deals with conflict between a chipmunk and a mouse fighting over who gets the nut they found. The plot is funny and keeps the reader engaged to keep reading to see who ends up with the nut! The big picture of the story is that sharing is caring, because the two friends found out that when they share they can have even more fun with each other.… (mer)
