Om mitt bibliotek
I like nonfiction, though when asked for a favorite author, Stephen King definitely comes to mind. That said, I feel I have to indicate that I prefer the older S.K. books--the straight-up-scary ones, as opposed to the newer, bordering-on-psychological-thriller ones. And, I know this is an unpopular opinion among many King fans, but I do not especially like the Gunslinger series.

I am somewhat of a demon about keeping the bookshelves organized. They may not look that way to anyone else, but I assure you, I can find what I need mere seconds after it comes into my head. I have a system... and that system works for me!

I think, to a stranger, my taste in literature might look a little dark and morbid, etc... and it probably is to an extent. But I suppose the bottom line there (regarding a good portion of the nonfiction, at least) is that I basically know why people do "normal" and/or "good" things in everyday life. It is why they do crazy, bad things that I am curious about. Also, my taste in books is similar to my taste in movies and TV; I don't usually like happy little tales of perfect families, cute romances, or chick-flicky nonsense (though I admit to reading things like The Devil Wears Prada or The Nanny Diaries on the beach). The Bridget Jones books are an exception--those were pretty good.

Okay, that said, I feel I now must admit to my ridiculous guilty pleasure of V.C. Andrews. Don't ask--I am unable to explain myself. These books will not likely appear here, as there are far too many and I don't even have them on my shelves (partly because I don't have the room to spare and partly because I am laboring to maintain my street cred among my fellow bibliophile friends).
Om mig
Well, I'm an editor for a magazine and, when my job doesn't make me despise the idea of reading after 5:00pm (which, luckily, doesn't happen too often), I'm always in the middle of a book or two... or three.

Anything else you need to know can likely be found HERE.
