Glad to be able to help. Don't hesitate to ask again if there continue to be problems which you think are related to misspellings and such!
So, I've been very busy, plus been away, but FINALLY I checked up on your request. One of the problem is spelling. His name is Albert Engström, and quite a few members have catalogued works from his hand. I tried to combine the Albert Engstrom of the Sandburg library with Engström (two dots above the O) but either it takes some time for the database to do the combination or something else went wrong.

Anyway, when the two are the same, so to say, it should be easy for anyone to combine the books in a correct way. As for me I don't have the time needed to commit myself to the project but I'd be happy to help with correcting language, on request.

Sothlomster och Brannasslor should read Sötblomster och brännässlor
Kokingar, Bonder och Herreman should read Bland kolingar, bönder och herremän
Svensk Harisont should be Svensk horisont

All of them searchable through LIBRIS, which is the source I would use.
I'll help, but it will have to wait until later this evening.
:-)
I'd like to hear more about Carl Sandburg's legacy library. What are you using as a source? I work at the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign library where we have most of his library; I think it was purchased when he died. Many of the books are in the general collection. I can inquire if there's a list of the contents, although it is possible such a list was published and you are using it to enter data.
Let me know what I can do.
If you're a State grad and interested in Poland, did you happen to take any courses with Dr. Fountain? He is an adjunct in the history dept. and was the one who got me interested in Polish history.

I did not take any classes with him. Did he teach classes specifically about Poland? I'll be quite sad if I missed out on them.
I've seen that no-title thing on Common Knowledge before, although I can't figure out why sometimes it appears and sometimes it doesn't - it doesn't appear to be linked to the title, since if you click on the little clock icon to get the change log, the title shows up just fine, and other titles with colons or parentheses appear without problems as well.

It's not even a book I own - I was just going through CK and expanding state abbreviations out into full names... I appreciate the heads-up, though.
Hi Keith,
I am glad to hear that you like our marker website. We've put alot of work into it and we, too, are very proud. Still a good bit to do, of course.
As for our library--Library Thing is a fantastic tool for us to finally gain intellectual control over our holdings. Until now we've only had a card catalog with title and author cards! While we do not lend books, since you are local, you are more than welcome to stop by to use a book here.

Hi - I've uploaded a cover image for Social Etiquette by Maud Cooke - FYI
Caught your picture on the Frappr map - is that of the HMS Rose?
