I grew up in Shaker, from age 7-14, and i miss it!
i walked to bertram woods library all the time.
anyway--here's how i found you---my best friend since age 7 is Dr. Katrina Firlik nee Shreiber!!
I'm also 38, and thought i'd mention that another friend who lived across the street has published several successful chick-lit/mystery books, though she no longer lives in Shaker.
her name is Jennifer Sturman.
i LOVED reading the contents of your shaker authors tag list, it reminded me of some of the wonderful people who have lived there.
have a great weekend!
POLLY
