Om mitt bibliotek
I have been a book person pretty much all my life; this library commenced in about 1978, although there are some volumes here from earlier. It includes some books from my father's vast library and even one or two that belonged to my great-great grandfather!

I am not going to try to define my interests/areas as you can see those from scanning my collection (or tags); my only comment would be I am amazed at how many biographies I have collected (and read) over the years!!

Director, Employment Law Centre (WA) 2012 - 2013

Executive Director of West Australian Association for Mental Health from September 2010 to 2012

Executive Director of the Australian Council On Smoking and Health June 2003 to September 2010.

I have chaired the Anglican 'Social Responsibilities Commission' Perth.

Previously, I chaired Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation WA and was on ANTaR's national management committee. I have also served on the National Sorry Day Committee as the WA representative and chaired the equivalent WA committee.

I have been actively involved in community radio for over ten years, presenting a blues programme called "Spoonful of Blues" on Monday nights, along with three other blues aficionados.

In my spare time I am trying to do some research and writing on the Anglican Church and Aboriginal children in Western Australia from 1838 - 1920. I will get there!

Married to Carol - with seven children, 5 grandsons and 4 grand-daughters.
