Hi Saify.! Thanks for adding me to your interesting libraries. We do seem to have several important authors in common. I started reading Agatha Christie when I was a teenager and re-read her books all the time. There's always something new to notice. Plus, I've read and listened to the HP books 4 times through now. I'm probably going to start re-listening to them in a month or two (I listen on the way to work).

I'm reading Twilight saga's New Moon right now - have you read or do you have any interest in the series?

Saify unfortunately Mary lost the baby. She is very upset and please do not offer condolences to her. This is her wish. I guess she feels that her grief is a private thing. However she is doing well and plans to try again in a few months. Thank you for your concern. Polly

Thank you. :) Oh, yes, the librarian was so happy! She'd been trying to get a copy of it donated to the hospital's library, but couldn't get a donation. My mom, who works at the same hospital, happened to overhear this and that the librarian was about to buy a copy of it herself so the hospital would have one. My mom told her "Wait! My daughter has one for you!" Hehe. The librarian told someone about it, and a man stopped by my mom's desk to give a book to me that he wrote, signed! The librarian got my DH the next day, and gave me a thank you card. :)

Yikes! I't crazy to imagine people reading Harry Potter books slow and so soon after the book release. I think my sister borrowed mine for maybe two weeks. I bought my deluxe edition during that time since it's the one I wanted anyway. When my sister returned my regular edition, I donated it to a children's hospital. :)

Do you have the normal edition?

Well, the deluxe edition comes in this box with the opening where the spine of the book is. The covers of the box have the front and back cover from the regular edition. When you take the book out, you can see the dragon cover, without any words at all on the cover (front, spine, or back!). Instead of red paper being on the inside, the deluxe edition is lined with paper that shows the regular edition cover. Everything is the same throughout the story of the book, until you reach the end. After the epilogue, there are full-size illustrations of each chapter illustration. Oh, it's so cool! I had to make myself not look at them until after I'd read the book so I wouldn't spoil it for myself. Also, each full-size illustration comes with a quote. :)

Thanks for your message - I'm definitely on the mend. Wasn't in hospital for very long, but have been going to and from docs a lot, and not up to getting involved in the threads for a while. That's truly a first for me, since I became crazed, I've never missed a HP movie in theatres.... ah I guess I'm getting old :(

Thanks. Yep, I saw the movie on Saturday. I brought skittles to help me stay awake since it was really late. (Movie theaters charge so much food and drinks!) Luckily, I stayed awake just fine, but by 2am I was still wide awake. 8)

Hey!! I love BTT too! I read it when I was your age (geez I feel old!!), do you know I even made up a melody for that song, "I see a land.." hahahahaha So is the movie good? I never went to see it because I was waiting for it to come out on DVD, but of course, I'm unsure if it will do justice to such an amazing book! :)

Hi, Saify.

When I made that thread, I should admit that I was pleasantly surprised to see the counters there. I thought I was merely copying and pasting the text used for them, and turns out, they actually worked. :) If you check out the links I provided there, I think Mugglenet and The Leaky Cauldron both offer counters for desktops, profiles, as well as messages like the one I put them in. I wish I could give you a direct link, but I'm borrowing someone's computer since mine is down, and half the time, it's so slow that pages won't even load. Good luck, though! I hope you get the counter used how you want it, and if you haven't read my message in the HE group, happy belated birthday. :)

Nice profile picture! :) Glad I'm not the only one who has HP cover stuff there.

I, too, was very glad to see there was a Harry Potter group when I joined LT. I love this site. Usually when I read a new HP book, I don't really have anyone to talk to about it. I'm happy this will not be the case for Deathly Hallows.

That sucks! Glad to hear you're you. (Well, that's worded funny but, oh, well. ;) Good luck on your LT account, and hope it doesn't give you any more trouble. If you have any problems, you can email Tim Spalding or Abbey. They have e-mail addresses listed somewhere on the site, and have helped me out a few times. :)
