Om mig I am one of several people involved in setting up an inner city suburban Community Garden in Perth. We have some rented allotments grown organically in no-dig gardens, a fruit orchard and some communal garden beds.
I'm also mother of two with a very hands-on husband (in most senses of the term).
With all that, and work, too, I only get time to read books I need to in order to get things done!

Not that many gardeners from WA on LT yet.
Good luck with the community garden up there.
We've managed to get land for one in Balingup too but as Lisa and I were kind of the driving force behind it and we've pulled back from most community stuff to focus on our own block for a while, its on the back burner at the moment.
If I can be of any help for you guys just let me know (pretty flat out planting garlic in between showers at the moment)
