Om mig I'm 23, female, and I live in North London.
Reading is my favourite thing to do with my spare time.

I am currently reading "Lorna Doone" by RD Blackmore.

Recommend a book to me!

Om mitt bibliotek I've added most of the books my partner and I currently own to my LT catalog. The ones that I've actually read are rated, reviewed, and dated. The others are left blank.

I've ordered the books (in the comment section) that I've read since April 2006. I realised I had hundreds of books but hadn't actually read even a fraction. I decided to undertake a systematic reading of all the books I own. I'm working through them by the order that they appear on my shelves at home.

For the books that appear to have been bought, started, and finished on the same day I put them in under the first day of the month I bought, started, or finished them in because I didn't remember or write down the exact date.

In the comments section I put the order in which I have read the books.
I will add books as I buy them and as I read them but I will only change the comments, reviews, etc. to indicate reading order, etc. after the book has been read or if the book is already uploaded and I know it's "next".

I read the books in the order that they are placed on my shelf at home.

My current user photo is Virginia Woolf.
My previous photo was of Ani DiFranco but I have decided to stick with authors from now on.

Totally agree with your review of The Timewaster Letters by Robin Cooper (aka Robert Popper). I just finished this book last night and have never laughed out loud so much over any book...at one point I was on the floor doubled over and in a fit of near convulsions, Parmaynu the Ping Pong Bat (who never cheats!) being the main culprit...My mum was concerned as she thought I was taking some some of nervous breakdown and the household Yorkshire Terrier scarpered in fear and hid behind the sofa as a result of the shrieking laughter spewing from my helpless body. My spleen's in bloody tatters... Are you sure it will grow back? gforce7
The children need your help!!

We are a group of students from DePaul University trying to collect books for children in grades one through eight. Even if you can send us just one book it will be appreciated. The books will be sent to an organization called Chicago Lights. (Chicagolights.org).

This organization distributes the books to kids in Cabrini-Green summer programs, homeless shelters, and Juvenile Detention Centers
If you have any books please send them to the following address:

Thank You in Advance!
Hey haveyou seen the show Charmed they have the same name for a demon that kills guardian angels or white lighters. Sorry, that was really random.
Wonderful to meet you, and I see you are also a fan of fantasy! I prefer urban fantasy. Some authors I would suggest are Tanya Huff, Jim Butcher, Charlaine Harris, Lilith Saintcrow, Jeanne Stein. Let me warn you their series are very addicting, but great fun (lol). Happy reading and magickal blessings!
Hey
Ani D rocks:)
Just brousing by:
"Recommend a book to me" - you only seem to own one of Reynold's classic Science-Fiction space opera series. I heartily recommend everything he has published to date, he's written a stunning universe with engimatic aliens and gripping plots.

Ann diFranco - Great live, but I seldom listen to the CD for some reason, if its the same person I'm thinking of.
Thanks for joining Lusty Ladies Who Library Thing! And if you haven't read it already, I recommend the short story collection Break Any Woman Down, by Dana Johnson.
Love the profile pic. We share some pretty cool stuff. Based on your library I'd recommend "The Master and the Margarita" by Mikhail Bulgakov. Russian classic and one of my favorites. Glad to see you in the Librarything Coffeehouse group, by the way.
I came across you in the South Amereica Group. Despite this I respond to your "recommend a book to me" with an Iltalian Writer- Antonio [Tabucchi].- I am reading now The Missing Head...] and read [Vanishing Point][]]. He is a marvelous writer, suspenseful, mysterious, a bit like Borges.

Let me know what you think.

Aaaw, it's not in our library system at all. Back-up plan?
Ooh, that does sound fun. I'll see if I can get my hands on a copy!
Oh! Well, put it that way, of course! What would you like to start with?
I've just convinced my boyfriend to read them. It was an uphill battle.
Thanks so much. :-)
I wonder if you would mind putting spoiler alerts on your reviews for Harry Potter 4 and 5?
Of course! Only, how do you have these book of the month parties?
Hey Wonks!
Welcome!
Yes, I do speak Spanish. I'm checking out your library later today to see which ones we have in common.
