Katie and Tanner
Om mig

This is the library of Katie and Tanner, a married couple living in Northeastern Wisconsin in a cozy apartment with their 3 cats and nearly 2,000 books.

Tanner is a college-level ESL instructor. He loves sci-fi / fantasy and history, with a focus on 17th century Europe. With degrees in linguistics and English, he has a passion for languages (mainly Spanish, Russian, and German). Other interests include sports (particularly college football and professional WI teams), painting miniatures, and music. His time is mostly spent on Duolingo and researching and co-hosting the podcast Beyond the Breakers.

Katie has her BA in French, and is a certified high school history teacher. (Although getting the nerve to actually apply for a teaching position has yet to happen. Maybe one day.) She hopes to eventually become a freelance French translator. She loves modern literary fiction, translated fiction, and Victorian classics. Other interests include interior design, crocheting, and baseball (Go Brewers!). Her time is mostly spent reading, getting nearer to fluency in French, and playing Stardew Valley.
