Om mitt bibliotekThe collection My Library consists of books I own and books I have read. Since most of my current reads come from the library, the combination of books owned and books read most accurately represents my current tastes. The collection Books Owned contains my physical library.

I like to read a variety of types of books, from literary fiction to politics to essays and lots of stuff in between. Lately, I've been reading lots of short stories.

Hi, AR - We share quite a few titles. I live in Jim Harrison's former hometown. Liked his memoir and his newest book - I've read several of his books, but my favorite is an older one, Farmer. I noticed you've got Telling True Stories, co-authored by Wendy Call. I went to HS w/ her dad, Doug, so I got an inscribed copy of her book. I'm a memoirist myself and it's been fun. I hear from readers all over the country and even from abroad. It just amazes me how books can get around. Olive Kitteredge is one of the best books I've read recently. I love Strout's stuff! I just got onto LT last month and am quite enjoying meeting other readers as I take my time entering my own library. I'm trying to finish a fourth volume of my own memoirs, but keep getting sidetracked by all the great books out there to READ! Be well, and let me hear from you, okay? - Tim
Hi,

Was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Saw you liked Paris Trout, and I thought you might like my novel since it's also southern and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

Yes, I just started it last night (instead of final papers, hehe). I saw it at the Dusty Bookshelf the other day, but I had heard such mixed reviews about it I decided it'd be safer to pick it up at the library and see how it went.
Which library do you work in?! I work in Watson, mainly!
Hey there. We have 12 books in common! I guess with your huge collection, that doesn't seem like much, but with my humble little offering, I find that really exciting. I don't know your two favorite authors, so I think I'll check them out. I'd like a punchy, sweet collection of short stories, my favorite genre. 'Any suggestions? Peace and happy reading, SarainOakland.
