Om mitt bibliotek
Being an avid reader, I strive to read a book or two a week. I read books relating to my ministry but also read biographies and books on parenting and humor. Because I am a minister and want to document many of the things I read, I take the higlighted notes from my readings and copy those highlights (with footnotes) to document files.

I have footnoted document files ("kevynotes") for many of the books that I have in my library here on librarything.com.
Om mig
I am a licensed funeral director, embalmer and cremationist. Since August of 2016, I have been working as an funeral service technology instructor for East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, Mississippi. I also have been a full-time minister for over twenty-seven years. I was called into the ministry my junior year of college (University of Alabama) while a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa.

For my graduate studies, I attended Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tennesse. Eventually, I graduated from New Orleans Theological Seminary with a masters in Christian education (MACE).

Churches where I have served include:

- Balmoral Baptist Church (Memphis, TN) - minister of youth and recreation
- First Baptist Church (Covington, TN) - minister of youth and older children
- Highland Bapitst Church (Metairie, LA) - part-time minister of youth
- Parkway Baptist Church (Natchez, MS) - minister of church growth and programs
- First Baptist Church (Cullman, AL) - minister of education and outreach
- First Baptist Church (Vicksburg, MS) - minister of education.

I love missions and have traveled to twenty-eight U.S. states. I also have traveled to Brazil, Mexico, Taiwan and Canada.

Being a weather enthusiast, I considered becoming a meteorologist before going into the ministry.

I have recently been licensed to embalm and funeral direct in the state of Mississippi. Currently, I do removals for Holland Funeral Directors in Tupleo, Mississippi and substitute-teach for the Itawamba School District. I graduated from East Mississippi Community College on May 10, 2014 with an Associate's Degree in Funeral Service Technology.

I have been married to my wife, Amy since April, 1997. We have two wonderful boys, Andrew who is a junior at the University of North Alabama and Ethan who is a junior at Itawmaba Agricultural High School. We have lived in Fulton, MS and are avid Itawamba Indian fans!
