I will read anything, I love to read a diverse range of books. I know the saying goes 'you should never judge a book by its cover' but there have been plenty of occasions when I have bought a book simply because of its cover. I have autobiographies, modern classics, chick lit, horror, crime, and many more genres of books. So my library looks a mish mash but I love to look at my bookcase and get a wave of different emotions flood over me from the different books i've read. I hope if you've taken the time to look at my library that you have found a book you have also read and one that maybe now you've seen it you will seek it out and give it a go, even if it is just because the cover has drawn you in.

I love books, always have done ever since I was a little girl. Being one of four children we had little money spent on us as children on toys and such things, however my mum was a member of the readers digest book club and would always buy us books. They were never seen as a toy or a treat but as a right. As such i read and read when I was younger and am glad to say I still do.
As a consequence of this I cannot pass a book shop without going inside to take a look, and also cannot leave a bookstore without purchasing a book or two, or three.
My favourite part of a book is the two hours after I have read the last word, if i am still questioning and thinking about it still after this time then i know it has been a good book and has had some effect on my life, even if only short lived.
Recently I have enjoyed revisiting books from my childhood. This is due to the fact that I have a nearly five year old neice who reads exceptionally well and so I feel the need to share this with her and encourage her. One of my favourite childhood books 'The Jolly Postman' is her favourite too, at least it is when she is at our house, and I never get bored of reading it to her before she falls to sleep.
I am guilty however of being someone who protests they love books and constantly buys books, but as you will see from my library the majority of the books I own I have yet to read. I know that one day I will have read the majority of the books I own, and I look forward to reading all of them.
