Om mitt bibliotek
My library is a reading and listening collection. I do not own all the books in my library. I have a wide range of reading interests so you never know what you might find! The genres I tend to read most are realistic fiction, historical fiction, and mysteries. I try to expand my reading into nonfiction, fantasy, and science fiction. The quality is the most important aspect to me, not genre, so I take lots of chances. I enjoy reading children's literature, young adult literature, graphic novels, and classics. Recently, I purchased a Nook which I find convenient when on the go or traveling.

"There is no mistaking a real book when one meets it. It is like falling in love."

"Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, every day, something no one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do. It is bad for the mind to continually be part of unanimity."

Both from Christopher Morley (1890 - 1957)

Reading is a sanctuary like no other. I look forward to, at some point in the day, being able to push everything away and read, if only for a short time. Besides reading, I like to knit, cook, spend time with friends and family, and research genealogy.
