Om mitt bibliotek It has a brand new home, with enough shelves (for now). (And no, they didn't all make it into that shot.)

Hello Nicole, It was so nice to meet you today and nice of you to add me as a friend. I see you have Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto. It is funny I just read that last week and loved it. Cheers, Maren
Hi!

I just wanted to be sure that you saw the change of plan for the after-Newberry meet-up. The place I had suggested turns out to be closed on Sundays, so we have decided to go to Dave & Buster's, on Clark, north of Oak. Still at 3:00. Hope to see you there!
It's a little further south from Edgewater but I am very fond of Unabridged Bookstores in Lakeview. Lakeview also has a lot of great used book stores. In a few, you have to move a lazing cat on occasion to see what you want to see.
Hi - I found the time, and am posting in a minute or two that the library's done. Hope it looks okay with everyone.

Thanks for all your help! Joel
Hi. looks like Hemingway will be done in the next day or two. Christiguc & Rullakartiina think you or I should make the post saying it's done. What do you think?

I was wondering if Papa himself could announce it? "My library is complete... thanks to all the people who helped, such as... tagging my books is an ongoing effort... etc."

I could even end with something amusing (corny?) like "Now back to my poker game. Bill Faulkner is into me for ten bucks."

Let me know..

Joel
Thanks so much for letting me know that some of the features I thought of in the Make LT Better thread are actually available. I had a feeling at least one or two probably were, and am glad that several are, but feel like a bit of a dork for not noticing. LOL.

Hey, at least I can really browse LT the way I want to now!
Cute reading area. Maybe I can do something like that...
You're totally right. I seem to have lost the overview on all these fancy new sites. Thanks for the hint!
Welcome to Chicago!

I'd definitely recommend Women & Children First. They have some very good programs, and are a first-rate feminist bookstore. The staff really knows their stuff. Kate's is basically used books, not perhaps as great as some, but decent. And Kate is nice, always a plus.
Hi

Thanks for adding me to your 'interesting library' list. Sorry not to have sent this sooner, but I'm still struggling to get to grips with the mysteries of LT!

Cheers

Joe
