Om migReading has always been a pleasure - some may say an addiction - for me. I was an English major in college so that I could explore this passion more fully. I have had adult basic literacy students for many years because I quite simply couldn't imagine a world without the joy of reading, let alone the practical aspects of knowing how to read. I tend to panic if I don't have a very large backlog of books waiting to be read, and LT has provided even more to my toppling pile. There simply isn't enough time, so reading is at the top of my priority list. My daughters say that their earliest memory of me is reading my own book or reading one to them. I can think of no greater compliment - and certainly no better legacy than the love of reading.

Om mitt bibliotekI prefer to read literature, but sometimes digress into biographies and non-fiction. I think that literature is a way of connecting with timeless emotions and experiences. I love books that leave me with something to think about long after I've finished the book.
