Om mig Your usual bibliophile writer photographer knitter pirate queen wannabe-superhero. I have an extremely addictive personality when it comes to stories, which leads to some serious problems when it comes to studies, nice long book series, and quality TV shows. My mother is a librarian and I worked in an independent bookstore through high school, so I feel it's understandable that my books must always be organized. I'm sure there are other people out there who alphabetize their bookshelves. I don't think it's as weird as most people seem to.

Om mitt bibliotek Most of it lives on the west coast, supposedly alphabetized by author but in increasing disarray as I run out of floor space. (Shelf space vanished about five years ago.) There are lots of stripped paperbacks I rescued from certain doom at the bookstore where I used to work. I don't know what to do with most of them. I don't even particularly want them, but I couldn't just let them be dumpstered. Not even Eragon deserves that fate.

Well, maybe Eragon. I wouldn't have rescued Eragon.

Rather than have a "wishlist" tag, my to read/to buy/wishlist is under the username "fionana."

oh, so true. i made sure to set all the covers to the right version!
The Scar, Perdido Street Station - China Mieville
Crystal Rain - Tobias Buckell
Eastern Standard Tribe - Cory Doctorow
Restoration , Revelation, Transformation - Carol Berg
Echo, Ecstasia, the Hanged Man, Primavera - Francesca Lia Block
Elsewhere, Nevernever - Will Shetterly
Melusine, the Virtu - Sarah Monette
those Blue Moon books
those Dhampir books
those Ukiah Oregon books

and if any of these are parts of series, the rest of them too!

(okay, this is a lot...maybe I can't afford all of this shipping. but! maybe some of them are already at school, or you'd be bringing them anyway. and of course if it is too much, I trust you to pick the best ones!)
I am definitely sure! I am working on the list as we speak.
In adding all of my books, I'm realizing that most of the fantasy I've read is not very good. I know it's hard to bring lots of books from CA, but I will pay for media mailings of books that I need to be reading!
May be I'll be a better tagger now that you have inspired me.
Hi, I just wanted to say that I really enjoy your tags, they are much more creative then mine. :)
Emma, I too alphabetize my books. And my art books are arranged first chronologically by period, then alphabetically by artist for monographs. We do this because we are *awesome*.
hi piratequeen

i saw we shared some favourites - lorna freeman and megan whalen turner - & i was wondering whether you know of any good pirate fantasy? I've just read 'Inda' & 'The Fox' by Sherwood Smith - possibly my favourite books of 2007...
yep :)
hello :)
my aunt illustrated the book "tales of two canines:the adventures of a wolf and a dog"
yep thats all...oh and i love pirates too (im considering being one when i grow up but i have no boat and no money but could always resort to stealing one, after all thats what pirates do.
HA
