i really suck at getting on here...
the series that follows the book melody by vc andrews is my favorite... i also really like the series following dawn and heaven.

sooo i haven't been on here in forever and i JUST got your comment about flowers in the attic... i read all of the series... the second book is okay from there it kinda goes down hill... but im glad u liked it =)

Did you know they are making a movie of Twilight?!? http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/twilight_m... go to this site to see the actors who are playing Bella and Edward. The guy who plays Edward was Cedric Diggory in the HP movies :)

Congratulations!! That is so cool :) It could be dangerous though being surrounded by all those books ..... ;) I know I would be spending half of my paycheck on books if I worked in a bookstore!

It's about an old man who remembers his days working with a circus during the Great Depression. I know, it doesn't sound all that interesting but it is a really good story!

I haven't read Sunshine yet but it is near the top of my stack of books ;) Right now I'm reading Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. It's really good.

I know what you mean. I read a lot during the summer but as soon as I got back to work, I haven't read nearly as much. That's one of the sad things about "growing up" you have to do responsible stuff instead of lying around reading all day :)

Yes, I finished Eclipse. Can't wait for the 4th book!! I want to find out what happens to Bella, Edward and Jacob!! I haven't started Sunshine yet. I have some books on hold at the public library I need to pick up this week. I should probably take a break from vampires anyway :)

I finished New Moon and now I'm reading Eclipse. I can see why NM was your least favorite -- Edward is gone for most of the book ;) I just bought a book called Sunshine by Robin McKinley; Mrs. Kanter recommended it after she found out I was reading the Twilight books. Another romantic vampire story ... Have you read it?

I finished Twilight! I'm not really "into" vampires but I really liked it. Now I am starting New Moon and we just got Eclipse so guess what I will be reading next ;)

I finally got to start Twilight today at lunch but then I forgot to bring it home with me, so I have to wait until tomorrow to read more. :( I've just barely started; Bella is eating lunch and asking about the kids who are sitting by themselves. one is Edward Cullen, I know enough to know he's kind of important ;)

On one of the threads in the Hogwarts Express group there was a link to an article where JKR told what everybody did afterward. I think Harry and Ron became aurors and Hermione worked for the Ministry of Magic as a lawyer??

I think you will like "The Eyre Affair." I have Twilight on my desk at work but I''m reading a book right now so I won't get to start it for a while. Besides the first week of school is always crazy busy! Yeah, I think the epilogue in DH left out a lot. What happened to the rest of the characters? Esp. George after Fred died?

School starts on Monday -- I go back to work tomorrow to get ready. I really liked the last Harry Potter, except the epilogue was kind of disappointing. And i wish she hadn't killed Lupin, he was one of my favorites! "Away Laughing on a fast Camel" is the next one I need to read so I'm kind of stuck. Have you read anything by Jasper Fforde? His latest came out this summer. He is great. The first one is "The Eyre Affair." I will definitely pick up "Twilight" when I get back to work!

That's great! I knew we had a good library :) I read a couple more of the Georgia Nicolson books this summer and I thought of you. I'll have to read Twilight when I get back, huh? That is the first one, isn't it?

I am immoral: I haven't seen it yet! I feel like a traitor. I could just cry. I have been so busy with work and training and school and lesson plans and junk that I haven't even had time to eat. I hopefully going to see it this weekend, but that seems so far away and everyone has seen it.
