Om mig I'm a wife and mother of two. I've been homeschooling both of them for the past four years, and most days I really love it. I'm also a professional quilter, and I've co-authored two quilting books, 100 Good Wishes and Greetings from Brazil. I feel slightly guilty about giving my books 5 stars. But, then, if I can't give my books 5 stars, who would?? My publisher distributes to quilt shops only, so you won't find me on Amazon, but you can find me at various online quilt shops, including www.quiltsandfixins.org.

Om mitt bibliotek I don't know that I have a favorite genre per se. I do love children's literature, and I've got lots of it in my library. A few of the books in my library are my husband's or my kids' books, but they're ones that I would read or have read. I don't hand out five stars lightly, so if it's a 5-starer, then I've made a really personal connection with the book or it just blew me away.
If it's in my library, I've either read it or I own it and intend to read it (tagged TBR). If I've read it, it'll have a star rating. I don't have wishlist books on here, but there are those that I've read but no longer have for one reason or another.

The quilt-making activity with the kids sounds wonderful. I've heard of other people who have done this and had great results. I always intended to do this with my own kids as a summer project - we didn't homeschool - but truthfully, it wasn't anything any of them had the slightest interest in. I remember buying a wonderful book about teaching quilting to kids, I wonder what happened to it? Good luck with it - sounds like lots of fun.

It's on it's way.

Can you either put your 12 step book-ophile program on your blog so I can link to it, or can I put it on my blog and just link to your blog? I love it too much to let it languish in a forgotten LT thread!
About Tan Lines, it's a constant presence throughout the book. When I hit page 30 or so, I wasn't sure if I was going to finish the rest of the book. The story started to grab me by the next couple chapters, though, so I soldiered on and ended up liking the book. I really could have done without so many graphic sex scenes, however; it's just not my thing. I did enjoy the underlying story, though. J.J. Salem gave me a lot of reasons to hate the book, so I was quite surprised when I ended up liking it.

On a completely unrelated note, kudos to you for homeschooling! I was homeschooled from fifth grade to graduation and I loved it. I received a much better education than I could have gotten in a public school. If I ever have children of my own I'm definitely going to homeschool.
I like your review of 'The Sky Village' - I really wanted to get a copy of that book in the ER but didn't get lucky. I look forward to seeing more of your reviews on LT!
Hi Traci..
Sorry it took so long for me to mail! I'm worse than the publishers. ;)

In any case, I hope you enjoy it!
