I did finally see Fantatstic Mr. Fox. I thought it was very creative and enjoyable and even fairly true to the book. Did you see it?
Thank you for the friend and interesting library request I see we are fellow NYRB fans. What did you think of the Handke? I don't have it yet. Cheers. Maren
Hi. I noticed you were one of two people that had Zwilling's Dream in your library. I was just wondering if you've read it yet and if it was any good. Thanks.
10 NYRBooks on the way. That gives me a few days to think of a story for the wife. I'm thinking of "Wordtron made me do it!"
Thanks for the NYRB tip! My wife may not thank you...
I just want to apologize for not having anything interesting to say to the person who's been atop my shared libraries list for so long. I could bankrupt myself on those NYRB Classics. Looks like you've given it a good shot! Cheers.
Hi - we share 21 books - glad to see someone who likes Dawn Powell, Junger, Chesterton and Magnus Mills - I wouldn't have thought they all went together in the same bookcase very often, but maybe I'm wrong. By the look of it you would probably like a book I'm reading at the moment - The Hopkins Manuscript by RC Sherriff - British sci-fi from the Thirties, if you don't know it already.
