Hey there!
In Japanese, Tsundoku (積ん読) means the piling up of unread reading materials, so as someone who loves nothing more than rummaging through massive bins at our local discount store's discount center, I have a couple of piles! At the time, I was so excited to find most of these books, that is makes no sense that I have not yet read them. Also, as anyone from NZ or Australia will know, for us the word "rooting", while also (potentially) pleasurable, has nothing to do with reading, except maybe The Karma Sutra!
Here is a list of my first selections to get started with :

Japanese Pilgrimage, Oliver Statler, 1983
The Carpathians, Janet Frame, 1988
Prochain Épisode, Hubert Aquin, 1965
The Cat That Lived a Million Times (100 Man-kai ikita neko), Yōko Sano, 1977
Am looking forward to finding new reading ideas in everyone else's lists as well.

Thanks for the messages. Yes lilisin, I have already found some interesting titles in your reading lists! I have already failed this challenge though because there are way too many interesting books at the library, and the library is one of my favourite places to visit, but no worries, an abundance of books is really a nice problem to have!
