I still haven't received my September book so was surprised by how quickly I got this one.

Powers: a novel arrived, and the customs slip said that it was a bible. Ok, I get it, it's Christian fiction! Geez. I would have been pissed if it really had been a bible, though. The note from the publisher compares it to Twilight, so that doesn't bode well at all.

HAHA... mine (Powers) came today and also said Bible in the customs declaration... and I was trying to figure out why I would get a Bible in the mail.

Maybe they were trying to avoid customs delays?

Anyway, I knew it was Christian fiction so was not really shocked... if one didn't know before, they'd know when they saw the customs slip!

It's a very attractive book: nice cover, nice size, nice print.

I was surprised to get a hardback first edition with dust jacket. My last ER book was a little paperback review copy. It also came with a very nice letter from the publisher.

53 and 57 - I won Matchless from Goodreads and I never received it either. Maybe it is an issue with the ARCs themselves or maybe the publisher. I don't know.

Has anyone recieved The Three Stooges Scrapbook yet?

Huh. Matchless is out of Harper Collins/William Morrow, just like Fool is. Not a good sign for receiving it.

I did receive "Hidden Champions of the Twenty-First Century: The Success Strategies of Unknown World Market Leaders" (wonky Touchstone), but decided to post that fact anyway. Still waiting for Corpses and Canyons by Don Yarber

Did anyone receive a copy of Dead Pan by Gayle Trent from the October 2009 batch of early reviewers? I got a PDF copy of the galley which doesn't please me. Another strange thing is it is not listed in the October list but I do have my message saying I received it from the Oct. list. I am careful not to request e-copies of books but I can't check the format of this one.

Is there any way for LT to contact someone at HC/WM to find out why Matchless hasn't been sent out? At this rate, I could buy it on Amazon and review it before they get around to mailing it.

I did a check on Matchless, which shows no members having received it. I've contacted HarperCollins, and resent the winners.

The best thing for anyone who hasn't received their book is to mark it as unreceived on the Books You've Won page. You have to wait 60 days from when you won it, but then please do mark it unrecieved.

That being said, I'm starting to go through and check back with those publishers with books that have 0 received.
