Agreed. I think I could have checked most of them, too, even the Stephen King ones. There should have been a 'check all that apply' option.

I agree. Some of those questions needed more options.

I tried to post above that I'm also a Dedicated Reader. There were a couple of questions I couldn't answer. Oh well.

I too came out as a Dedicated reader. The quiz was kind of culturally skewed, though - no August Strindberg, no Vilhelm Moberg, no Moliere or Zola, just to mention a few of the authors judged IMPORTANT and thus forced upon me while in school.

I came out as Book Snob - I'm a smidge put out by that... maybe I should have left the ones I couldn't answer (for example I haven't read War and Peace but I haven't read Moby Dick either)...

Huff.

Maybe I'll try that again...

That time I came out as a Dedicated Reader - I think it all hinges on the War and Peace question...

Yeah, I left that one unanswered - see my #10 for what should had been there if the test had been a Swedish one. In swedish education Wuthering Hights is as seminal as... well, Asimov; a genre author important to a certain cultural (not our!) sphere.
Not a perfect comparison, but you get what I'm at.

Oh well only to be expected I suppose (I must admit that I did closest fit on some of the answers - and having to pick only one of those sets of books!)

And I left question #6 blank, because out of all those books, I had only ever read Madame Bovary, The Great Gatsby, and some of Huck Finn.

I was called a book snob, which I thought unfair. A book snob would read classic books and prize-winning fiction works, just to say they had read such stuff. I definitely don't think that is me.
