( )An admitted homage to 'Tales of the City' but, sadly, the author missed the point: 'Tales of the City' is full of interesting characters who the reader wants to spend time with. Second in the Scotland Street series. More good fun in the soapie style. Read August 2008 While I didn't particularly care for 44 Scotland Street, I was glad to have read it so that I had context for Espresso Tales. While there is some random rambling about characters who show up and disapper, the strong suit of this book is that it follows the characters established in the previous novel, deepening the character development and making me actually care about them this time. interesting, good as usual, witty, observant and more more more inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
