Laddar... Pig's Eggav Katherine Sully
![]() Ingen/inga Det finns inga diskussioner på LibraryThing om den här boken. This book talks about the different farm animals that can fly and lag an egg. Pig feels left out because he can't do either of those things. Pig ends up finding an egg and thinks he laid the egg. He then takes care of the egg until it hatches twice. The egg of course isn't his, but an egg with a caterpillar in it. This is where I have a little bit of an issue with this book, because it teaches children incorrect facts about animals. Since it is fiction however, the teacher could take this opportunity to teach his/her students about some of the genres of literature if they haven't discussed that in the class yet. One of the themes of this book is that is important to be kind to all of the world's creatures. It is important to take care of all of your children. This might also be a good opportunity for the teacher to explain different types of families and how blood doesn't make a family. It is whoever takes care of you and who raises you. ( ![]() An adorable story about wanting to fit in and enjoying your differences. This story would allow for many discussions if used for read aloud. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
