Kommer nog fram till att denna sci-fi roman ändå har lite substans. Koontz har bemödat sig med att göra lite bakgrund-research, trots allt.
Men det saknas mycket. Det blir inte riktigt spännande. Persongalleriet är alldeles stendött. Som läsare känner man inte för någon, man bryr sig inte om de skall klara det/sig eller inte.
Åsså är det alltför många logiska hopp i historien. Slutsatserna som karaktärerna i historien drar är alltför fantastiska och icke trovärdiga, som någorlunda intelligen läsare suckar man ofta... Sen visar det sig iofs att de inte alltid har rätt, men de AGERAR som om de hade det.
Positivt då? Ja författaren får faktiskt till en ganska intressant historia till slut med flera härliga förvecklingar på ett fantastiskt (i ordets bokstavliga betydelse) sätt. ---
Nej, Koontz övertygar inte med "Fånga natten". Slöseri med tid. ( )
