I love the hollywood vibe meets summer beach town. I ALSO LOVE the email meet cute and the constant talk about the pets. I really enjoyed the romance and hope to read the follow up novel soon. I wish there would have been more emails to start the chapter or more emails that showed the start of their relationship but really cute. ( ) Such a cute summer read. I loved this book from the very start, the way Graham and Ellie act is really cute. They have an adorable banter, I really enjoyed reading it. The intrigue of Ellie’s old life is just great. All of the misunderstandings and twists made this a fun contemporary read. All of the things you learn about the characters give it that much more depth. I highly recommend. This Is What Happy Looks Like/Jennifer E. Smith Smith has a lovely style of writing, and this is another sweet, solid YA romance from her. Teen movie star and heart throb Graham accidentally sends an email to Ellie O'Neill, a regular old teenager in Maine, which spurs a chain of emails across three months. Graham convinces the director of a movie he's working in to check our Ellie's town in Maine, and ends up with a few weeks in Ellie's town without telling her. I had a smile on my face almost the entire time I was reading this book--it was gorgeous and made me happy. Ellie and her best friend, Quinn, had some problems to work through that added to this book, as did Ellie's relationship with each of her parents. I loved the dynamic that pop culture mixed with small town life played and even the smaller shopkeepers were fun to read about. Again, this book was pretty easy to predict, but the strength and courage that characters showed and Ellie's easy relationship with Graham made this definitely worth reading. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension

The two 17-year-olds strike up an e-mail relationship from opposite sides of the country and don't even know each other's first names. What's more, Ellie doesn't know Graham is a famous actor, and Graham doesn't know about the big secret in Ellie's family tree. When the relationship goes from online to in-person, they find out whether their relationship can be the real thing"-- Inga biblioteksbeskrivningar kunde hittas. |
