This book is about a bear who discovers that he is now old enough to do things by himself. He finds out that he is old enough to dress himself, give himself a bath, but finds out the the best of all is that he is never too old to get a goodnight kiss. ( )

This story is a precious tale of a baby bear and his parents. His parents wake him up, get him dressed, fed, bathed, and tucked in again every single day. Little by little, however, his parents make him more and more reliant on himself. They slowly begin allowing him to dress himself and then to feed himself. Once this is accomplished, baby bear is allowed to bathe himself. Then the mother bear realizes that he is not a baby anymore. He is now a little bear. They take a walk together as a family and then return home to tuck little bear into bed. This a great story for small children when talking about families, growing up, and acquiring more responsibilities. Activities for this author and her books can be found at www.audreywood.com.

Everyday, Baby Bear's mama and papa would wake him up and help him throughout the day by getting him dressed, feeding him, and bathing him. One day, mama and papa Bear decide its time for Baby Bear to learn to do everything himself. His parents were so proud when he did everything by himself. After that, he was known as Little Bear, and could finally stay up later! This is a great book for showing children they can grow up and do things by themselves and don't always need their parents.

Everything has always been done for Baby Bear. His parents dress, feed, and bathe him daily. One day his parents teach Baby Bear how to get ready, feed himself, and bathe all by himself. The next day he is ready to be independent. At the end of that day Baby Bear's parents decided he should be called Little Bear, because he is not a baby anymore. This book would be great pre-k to first grade children. http://www.audreywood.com/mac_site/cl... contains a variety of activities for Audrey Wood's books.

This story is about a baby bear who is learning to be an little bear. He learns how to dress, feed, play, bathe independently. He grows from Baby Bear to Little Bear. The book does emphasize that some things you are never too old for which is too big to be tucked in, read to, and kissed goodnight. This is a wonderful book for children who are growing and learning to do things on their own. This is a good book for Pre K - K.
