I thoroughly enjoyed Barbara Mojica's book, "Little Miss History Travels to the Statue of Liberty." When you read it, I bet you'll agree it's great fun to read and you learned a great deal. Did you know who was responsible for the idea of building this beautiful national treasure? Do you know who designed the statue? A hint is both of them were from France. When the statue was shipped to the US did you know it was in 350 pieces, packed in 214 wooden crates? Children will be engrossed in the story and the beautiful illustrations. I'm sure they will enjoy learning about The Statue of Liberty as much as I did. So many interesting facts are included in this book. Children, parents and teachers are sure to treasure it.
