This appears to be the end of the Pennyfoot Hotel series, and it is a pretty good one. I realize that there are several books after that appear to be Christmas cozies and I will read them too. Ceciy and Baxter finally settle their personal lives, but it is touch and go when one by one maids at the Pennyfoot are found strangled by their own stocking. And why does the killer keep taking one shoe? You'll have to read to find out. This has been a pretty good cozy series, and I havwe enjoyed it. ( )
