Baby, dressed in a cat costume, is looking for her special pumpkin so she can go trick-or-treating. In her search, she encounters happy bats, a pointed witch's hat, candy apples, and other familiar Halloween objects. This is such a cute book. My little boy loves all of Karen Katz' books, but this is one of his favorites. The lift-the-flaps make reading the book a much more interactive and engaging experience for us both! ( )

Pretty colors. Lots of flaps to lift as baby looks for a trick-or-treat pumpkin, and lots of foil to make it shiny. Illustrations are cute. My kids love it, and actually I like it too. ( )

My son adores this book and asks us to read it again and again. I actually tire of it but love that he loves it. The pictures are engaging and many are textured, and he loves pulling on the flaps (he has pulled some off) and seeing what's underneath. ( )
