Mark Wallbank heads a team of researchers, Haunted Auckland, who use an electro-magnetic field meter as well as audio and video recorders, cameras, thermometers and similar equipment to measure motion and atmospheric data within alleged 'haunted' locations throughout New Zealand's North and South Islands. The book had a contents page which was good. What I found really interesting was learning about older New Zealand buildings and a little history about those building and the people that lived in them. I would have liked to have seen this expanded upon as I feel some of the stories left the reader hanging and a bit more research would have rounded out some of the mini-stories. A criticism is that this book needed a really good editor. An example is page 63 where an entire paragraph is repeated on the same page. Fixing up basic mistakes like missing words and rewriting 'clunky' sentences would have made the book more enjoyable for the reader. However it was entertaining, although I did read it on a nice sunny day! ( ) inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
