A very amusing short story through the views of trees! A novel concept indeed.
Although it doesn't take long to read, what you get out of it is immense. This story will give you a lot to think about when finished.
The whole idea is so surreal yet feels real at the same time making the reader wonder if this does truly happen.
In a all, beautifully written and well worth a read. ( )

This was an unexpected, humorous view on trees and their possible secret dominion over earth and humanity.

Received as a Member Giveaway from LibraryThing - I don't think I've ever read such a Short Story! I see faint shades of Animal Farm here. Trees of all denominations get the call to attend the 2nd meeting of the Sapiens Crisis Management Team. If it wasn't for Trees we sapiens wouldn't have been able to survive. They provided our food, gave us seeds, guided us to put down our own roots, build houses and showed us how to write. Trouble is, we sapiens caught on too well and started to threaten their very existence. Sapiens had to change, the Trees knew how and so started - The Environmental Movement! ( )

Not only differ trees in looks, but also in personalities! A fun and fast paced short story for all ages you simply have to read to know what happened in the woods! ( )

This was a well written short story. I particularly liked the personification of the trees. I received an early reader's review copy and am thankful for the opportunity to read it. Best of luck to the author in the future. ( )
