This one revolves around Hyacinth Bridgerton and Gareth St. Clair, and a mystery contained in a diary written in Italian! There’s lots of humor in this book, and the mystery element is done in a fun way. I very much enjoyed this book with it’s lighthearted tone. - Gregory, the youngest of the Bridgertons, believes in true love (witness his brothers and sisters for evidence), and figures all he needs to do is wait for it to happen. It does, at a sibling’s party – he’s struck by the view of a young woman’s nape, and just like that, he’s in love. Unfortunately, nearly every other man in London is in love with the same woman, but luckily for Gregory, his true love’s best friend, Lucinda, decides to help Gregory woo her friend. However, Lucinda soon realizes that she is in love with Gregory, and misery (and lots of wit) ensues. I enjoyed this one – all of the wit of the others, with some truly romantic (clutch in my chest) moments. This is my favorite out of the Bridgerton series, althought "The Viscount Who Loved Me" is a close second! Unlike most men of his aquaintance, Gregory Bridgerton believes in true love. And he is convinced that when he finds the woman of his dreams, he will know in an instant that she is the one! And that is exactly what happened. Except.... She wasn't the one. In fact, the ravishing Miss Hermione Watson is in love wha another. But her best friend, the ever-practical Lady Lucinda Abernathy, would like to save Hermione from a disastrous alliance, so she help Gregory win her over. But in the process of helping Gregory, she falls for him. Except... Lucy is in engaged. And her uncle is not very inclined to let her out of her betrothal to another, even once Gregory comes to his senses and realizes that he love Lucy and not Hermione. And now on the way to the wedding, Gregory must risk his heart to ensure that when he kisses the bride, he will be the only man standing there. I gave this book 5 stars, because I love this series very much and Gregory was my favorite out of the Bridgerton's even when he was little. He was very funny when he was younger, throughout the series you'll see, although he does not speak very often in the series, when he does or does an action, its funny. Like tossing peas at his sister Hyacinth. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
