In this volume we have the usual Usagi is 14 and her boyfriend is like 18 taboo. Usagi and Mamo have a sleepover and her parents are ok with it cuz she assures them they're "pure." Plus, Chibi who lusts after the man who will become her father in the future (or is a reincarnation...I'm not really sure. And characters like Chibi and Hotaru who have older, hot, evil alter egos (who should totally just be the evil gay opposites of Neptune and Uranus). Then we get Chibi who looks up to Usagi with her long legs and "soft breasts." Lol these comics are wild. Part of me is like wtf is going on. The other part likes that there's so much oddball stuff going on.
Everyone's powers are pretty nebulous, but Tuxedo if deff the weakest. He has almost no attacks. I love that he's really just there to support Usagi with his love, or be a source of drama when he's kidnapped. More often than not he's the damsel in distress and Usagi saves him. It's a nice twist.
And I do love that love and friendship are basically what power everyone. When they're on the verge of defeat they often think about how much they love each other and mean to each other and then become more powerful. They tend to unlock new powers when they come together as a group. It's sweet. ( )
