The entire series is now complete. For now. Surprisingly, I read the series out of order, first the third one, then the fourth, then the first and now the second one. I haven't read from this author for a while but I know she writes enjoyable books. When I closed the final page of Forget Me Nat, it was delightful, but flawed.
It starts (more like continues) with the first person I see, Nat, recounting her life at her school after the events of Nat Enough. Nat believes Derek has a crush on her until a revelation hits her: Derek likes Nat, but only as a friend. The rest of Forget Me Nat revolves around Nat attempting to regain her self-confidence after that event. I spend so much time on her character development it grew stale. Forget Me Nat is around the same length as the other three instalments but it feels much longer. At least I could like the characters but I disconnected myself from them. The conclusion is heartwarming, finishing the fictional composition on a high note. ( )
