This book was written independently of any pattern company, but has all the information necessary to set up a sewing machine, follow a pattern and add some fashion details and fine finishing to garments to make them more than the ordinary clothing constructed following the minimal instructions in a pattern. Excellent book. The title is misleading. It's not for lazy or impatient people. It's a great book that just shows one in plain language and illustrations how to miter a corner. And how to put in a zipper. And how to all kinds of other useful things. No cheats. Just how to. ( )
