Reading this novel was a waste of time. Why then did I waste the time? During our usual April stay in Indian Shores, Florida, we signed up to participate in the Indian Shores Library "Read n' Feed" book discussion evening. Some times the book selection leads us to a wonderful title of which we have not previously been aware. Last year's discovery of Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus is an example.

I am assuming this book is intended to be a satirical take down of the CIA and America's sometime questionable foreign policy initiatives. We have Serge who leads a group of friends who literary kill bad people who in this case are CIA operatives who are poorly trained and have questionable morals and ethics and are a threat to people who have become innocent targets of this group.

Dorsey insists on having some of the characters tell incredibly crude stories and their swearing is of a particularly crude variety. I could not find a justification for using it. (

This is another crazy installment in the Serge Storms series. Serge in Coleman are still living in the retirement condos when COVID hits and hilarity ensues. (
