Laddar... Creation In Death (2007)av J. D. Robb
![]() Det finns inga diskussioner på LibraryThing om den här boken. In these stressful times, JD Robb is a comforting friend, and this is one of her best. An old case comes back to haunt Eve and Feeney. Now they must get him before Eve is the victim. It seems the serial killer is after Roarke and his people. This time the killer leaves clues that they can follow. They have their plan and it fails. I love Eve and Roarke. I like the family that's been grown around them with friends and co-workers. When Feeney feels left out, Eve and he get into it and Eve feels bad which she never would have before Roarke. I like the interactions between personal and professional lives. This is comfort reading for me. As always an exciting thing. This time, Dallas and her team not only have to save women, but Dalls himself is also the target of the murderer. A young woman is found dead. She was brutally tortured and burned on her body for how long it took her to die. This first dead recalls an old case nine years ago. At that time, the killer was not caught. Dalls and her team know it's a race against time. Additionally, they have to realize that this time the young women are employees of Roarke and that the real target must be Dallas. Exciting written. A murderer who slipped through Eve and Finney before is back in town for his final act. Eve and the team work hard to find this killer who has been killing woman across the globe. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension

And The Groom has his sights set on Eve.
All the expected characters make an appearance in this, the twenty-fifth in the “In Death” series. Anchored by the strong sense of place, the narrative opens with a case that mirrors one from the past, one that Eve worked with Feeney. Despite the fact that the serial killer is decidedly despicable, there are still moments of humor, witty repartee, and romance [all of which readers have come to expect in an “In Death” book].
The camaraderie and ever-deepening relationships are at the heart of the telling of the tale, but here the intriguing case is equally as important. There are some difficult moments between Eve and Feeney, but all wraps up well after the plot takes some unexpected twists. It’s a solid story and readers will find it difficult to set this one aside before turning the final page.
Highly recommended. (
