I'm in the midst of one such book that holds me enthralled - Salvation in Death by J.D. Robb. It's a difficult book for me to put down because I just need to keep turning the pages, but I decided to take a little break for a while to ... Having just finished The Last Pope by Luis Miguel Rocha, I think I'll start on Salvation in Death by J.D. Robb. I love her books about Lieutenant Dallas, the butt-kicking cop with a heart of gold. yes, I almost picked up Salvation in Death after The Big Bad City but I thought maybe I ought to change up a little and give police stories a bit of a rest. Still on a murder mystery bent though and reading The Last Pope now.

I am a big fan of this cop series set in the future, but this one fell flat for me. Maybe it's time for her to change things up with the major characters; I miss the witty banter of the early works in the series. -20 Let me know what you think :)

12. Salvation in Death by J. D. Robb aka Nora Roberts. A nice addition to the series but for those new to this particular series I would recommend reading them in order as they follow a particular timeline.
I am actually reading some nonfiction for those categories but haven't finished any ... ... are a lot of next in series books that I really want to read sooner rather than later. I just put the newest J. D. Robb, Salvation in Death on hold at the public library. There are 15 others ahead of me... Besides I have all the others (the last one was one of only 2 new books I bought last ... 3. Salvation in Death by J.D. Robb. 3 stars. Audio. I just could not seem to get into this latest offering starring Lt. Eve Dallas and her hunky hubby Roarke. The last 1/4 was good, but that wasn't enough to save it from what I thought was mediocrity. I must admit, though, that I wasn't ... ... These include The Black Tower by Louis Bayard, Jack: Secret Histories by F. Paul Wilson, a YA Repairman Jack novel, Salvation in Death by J.D. Robb, and a supernatural thriller by Suzy McKee Charnas called The Ruby Tear. I've also got Sharon Kay Penman's When Christ and His S ... ... lottery, but then I wouldn't have that pesky job taking up my time, so it would all work out...)
