This book is the story of a young girl finding herself. Desperate to be accepted among the "popular" crowd, Caitlin does all that she can to fit it and finds out it is not worth it. She learns through finding God that she also finds herself.

This is a very good book. I found it to be very comforting. The author keeps you on the edge of your seat. You will fall in love with the characters and eagerly turn the pages to find out what happens in their story. The author wrote it as though you were reading the young girl, Caitlin's diary. This helped to draw me into the story on a personal level.

Within the classroomm, I would want to incorporate this book with a lesson on choices our students as well as we face everyday. Caitlin faced hard decisions on drinking, drugs and etc. It would also be interesting to encourage students to keep a diary for a particular length period in order for them to seriously reflect on themselves and the choices they make.

Sixteen-year-old Caitlin decides to keep a diary to record the rest of her junior year in high school. Dealing with major family problems, newfound popularity, dating and sex, Caitlin tries to maneuver through life while seeking a real relationship with God and finding God's purpose for her life. Caitlin is a well written realistic character that faces many issues teens face in today's world. Teens who are struggling with finding balance between their world and their christian faith can relate to Caitlin's struggle in this christian teen book. ( )

Diary of a teenage girl was a really good book.I really liked how its about only a teenage girl and it dosnt go off topic. i liked it because she is a teenage girl and so am i so i can relate to her in some weird way. the way she talkes about the boys is true, we only want the guys to look at us and if we like some one we would do stupid things for them and then later on we regret what we did. i would recomend it to all the girls that like to read about teenage love.
