I picked this book up in a second hand bookshop. I don't remember seeing it on a display anywhere before, which is odd considering how good it is. This is one of those young adult adventures that could be enjoyed by people older (and indeed, younger) than ... Endymion Spring is excellent, sort of in the vein of the Inkheart series as I recall.
There are of course a lot of nonfiction books about books that might or might not interest you... A Passion for Books, The Book on the Bookshelf, books by Nick Hornby and Nicholas A. Basbanes...

I've just finished Endymion Spring, which was all right but not great, and have started on The Green Glass Sea, which I am enjoying. Oh, I also finished The Cobra King of Kathmandu, and started Endymion Spring. May was a low month for me, as far as number of books read. Can't imagine why . . . moving, unpacking , starting a new job, visits from family . . . none of those factors could impact my reading time, right? ... of Unfortunate Events

And the 52nd book of the year is Endymion Spring by Matthew Skelton. This actually turned out to be a great book! It consists of 2 separate but intertwined stories told simultaneously with a nice tidy conclusion ... ... A couple of the books being considered for September are The Goose Girl and Golden, and we've previously considered Endymion Spring. There are several fantasy titles I've recently enjoyed. I loved Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor and Endymion Spring by Matthew Skelton. Also for a lighter, funnier fantasy read, I loved Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. ... which I loved this year. New for 2006, I loved King Dork by Frank Portman, Skin by Adrienne Maria Vrettos, Endymion Spring by Matthew Skelton, Rash by Pete Hautman, Hit the Road by Caroline B. Cooney and countless others which I am sure will spring to mind once I ... ... Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik - I've been hearing so many good things about this series that I simply have to try it.
Endymion Spring by Matthew Skelton - Another book I've heard good stuff about.
The Shadow Thieves by Anne Ursu - I've read about this on a few YA litblogs ... ... read. It was so creative, a fresh idea in children's lit. I read the whole thing in two days. I've also just started Endymion Spring, which is intriguing. I'm about half done and hate to put it down. First post, so I hope my touchstones are correct. I just finished Endymion Spring by Matthew Skelton and would recommend it. I want to fly to Oxford asap. An fyi about Midnighters by Scott Westerfeld: there will be at least another volume in the series. ... of the Rumbaughs, A True and Faithful Narrative, The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, Bella at Midnight, and Endymion Spring ... library for a conference so I wanted to read the books! A Girl Named Zippy would be a great read for teens too!
