Good luck, I like reading how people answer this type of questions, I am not far behind with my kids (8 and 10). I read The Host a couple months ago and didn't find anything in it that I would consider inappropriate for a 15 year old. Certainly not any more so than some of the scenes in Breaking Dawn. I think I might even have brought up the point in my review of The Host that even though it is Meyers' ... ... to discover that they weren't the bodice-ripping romances. I don't think she's quite ready for that yet.
What about The Host? Is it as great as the Edward and Bella thing? Is it appropriate for her age? A third coworker was raving about Twilight and was excited to get The Host. So now I'm debating on reading it. I've heard that it has better writing and a more adult story line. I did enjoy The Host but more because it was a fast, fun read; although it did raise a bit of thought on humanity and what defines it (at least for me).
What's holding you up in the Twilight series? Did you like The Host? This was great! An autobiographical look at a pioneer aviator and very interesting lady.

I've just started reading Brother Odd. Wafflez, I want to read The Host. I have heard a lot of good things about it. I am almost done with the Twilight series. It was good, nothing wonderful but an easy read.
