Ingen. ereader ebook I actually listen to on CD, but what a story. Wish this series would continue. This one was very close to being just "ok" instead of liked it. I think I would have been better off reading the hard copy so I could skim, or finding an abridged audio edition. Unabridged just dragged on and on; it seemed like it took forever to get to the actual story and then it just kept going on and on. I never felt compelled to listen so it took me a couple months to get through this one, but it did keep my mind occupied during my commute. I don't know that I'd pick up the next one in a hurry, but at least this story wasn't dependent on a subsequent book. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension

There was beautiful and vivid description, I actually felt the Florida heat as Evanovich wrote it, however there are scenes that take place in the water and I found I couldn't really keep track of who owned what boat by what name. Also there was more than a whole page of dialogue regarding a "history lesson" of Cuba and Castro that bored me to tears.
It was enjoyable enough for a quick, easy, summer read, and I'm sure I'll read the sequel, but for the time being I definitely prefer Stephanie Plum to Alex Barnaby. (
