Despite menopause happening to all women by a certain age, I've found that a bizarre shroud of mystery surrounds it. I think it's important to understand all the potential physical and emotional effects as well as the different management options that are out there.

This book covers many areas clearly and coherently, but I would have liked more detail around alternatives to HRT.

It's a good menopause demystifier, but somehow I'm still left with questions.
