Unfortunately this book is geared so far towards the corporate librarian world that very little of it would be easy to apply in an academic library setting. There's one chapter about tools to get started playing with data that will be useful, but much of the book I ended up skimming.

An excellent review of the use of data to locate information based on the newest applications. If I were still teaching library management courses with would be a textbook that I would use and keep. It reflects this reviews ideas that librarians are still important in the field of information. The use of the information will make our jobs easier and more secure. Recommended.
